Uptrends, now sold as ITRS Uptrends, bundles uptime checks, real browser tests, multi-step transactions, chained API checks, real user monitoring and private checkpoints into one credit system. That is the right shape for a digital experience team. It is a heavy shape for a team that mainly wants to know, fast, when a URL, an endpoint or a port stops answering.
Where the two products overlap
HTTP and HTTPS uptime checks, SSL certificate checks, single-request API checks, alerting and public status pages. If your Uptrends account is mostly uptime monitors, this is the part a flat uptime tool replaces one for one.
Where they do not overlap
Browser monitors in real Chrome and Edge, recorded transactions through login and checkout, waterfall charts and filmstrips, real user monitoring and checkpoints inside your firewall. AlertPing does none of that. If those are the reason you bought Uptrends, keep it.

The "from" price does not tell you your monitor count
Uptrends prices monitors in credits: an uptime monitor costs 6 credits, an API step 15, a browser monitor 50 and a transaction step 50. Its monitor table shows an uptime monitor at $4 on Core and $5 to $6 on Pro, and a browser monitor at $29 to $46. What the page does not print is how many credits the "from" price includes, so the only way to learn what 40 endpoints cost is the calculator or a sales conversation. Its own FAQ describes credits as annual monitoring capacity with a minimum commitment.
Thirty seconds is an Enterprise feature
The two plans with a printed price stop at 2 minutes and 1 minute. A 30-second uptime or API check appears only in the Enterprise column, next to SSO, private checkpoints and a dedicated account team, with no number attached. If a 30-second interval is the thing you need, Uptrends asks you to buy the whole enterprise tier to get it.

Interval decides how long an outage runs before anything notices. On average a failure starts halfway between two checks, so a 2-minute interval adds about a minute of blind time to every incident and a 30-second interval adds about 15 seconds. Checks per month use a 43,833-minute month.
