HetrixTools pricing 2026 and how much HetrixTools costs per monitor, per plan and per year

| Comparisons | 8 min read

HetrixTools uptime monitoring costs $0 for 15 monitors, $9.95 a month for 30 on Professional, $19.95 for 60 on Business and $49.95 for 200 on Enterprise. Yearly billing is ten times the monthly price, so two months are free. Every plan checks once a minute, and extra monitors cost about 33 cents each a month on the two smaller plans and 25 cents on Enterprise.

Those figures are read from the HetrixTools uptime monitor pricing page, including the plan data the page uses to price extra monitors. HetrixTools prices in US dollars, so nothing below is converted. The bills further down are our arithmetic on top of that rate card, and every step is shown so you can redo it. Several listing sites still quote a $99.95 Enterprise tier or mix in the separate blacklist monitor price list; neither matches the current uptime page.

Need checks faster than once a minute?

AlertPing checks 100 websites, APIs, ports and SSL certificates every 30 seconds from US East and EU Central, confirms each failure from the second region and includes 300 SMS alerts a month, for $59 a month on Team or $348 a year. See the plans and limits.

HetrixTools pricing plans for uptime monitoring

HetrixTools sells two products on two price lists: Uptime Monitor and Blacklist Monitor. This page covers the uptime list. Plans differ by how many monitors you get, how many of the 12 locations you can use, how much white labeling you get and how many phone and SMS credits come with the plan. The check interval does not change.

Plan Monthly Yearly Uptime monitors Locations Phone and SMS credits Sub-accounts
Free$0$0154 of 12None includedNone
Professional$9.95$99.95306 of 1225 a month1
Business$19.95$199.95609 of 1250 a month5
Enterprise$49.95$499.95200All 12125 a month20

Each uptime monitor can carry one server monitoring agent at no extra cost, so the server monitor count matches the uptime count on every plan. All plans include status pages with unlimited report history, maintenance windows, SSL and domain expiry checks, nameserver change detection, the v3 API and access for AI agents through MCP. White labeling is partial on Free and Professional (3 and 5 domains) and full on Business and Enterprise (10 and 20 domains). The activity log keeps 15, 30, 60 or 90 days by plan.

How much HetrixTools costs per extra monitor

You can add monitors to any paid plan at that plan's own rate, monthly or yearly. Monitors come in fixed blocks and the yearly price of a block is ten times the monthly one.

Plan Block Block price a month Per monitor a month Base plan per monitor
Professional6 monitors$2.00$0.333$0.332
Business10 monitors$3.33$0.333$0.333
Enterprise25 monitors$6.25$0.25$0.250

The pattern is clean: on Professional and Business a monitor costs a third of a dollar whether it is in the base plan or added later, and on Enterprise it is a quarter. The slider on the pricing page goes up to 100 blocks, so Enterprise tops out at 2,700 monitors for $674.95 a month before you are sent to sales.

What HetrixTools costs at 100, 500 and 1,000 monitors

Here is the cheapest way to buy each size, worked out across all three paid plans. The cheapest route is not always the plan you would pick for features, so the location count is in the table too.

Monitors Cheapest route Monthly Yearly Locations
100Business plus 4 blocks of 10$33.27$333.159 of 12
200Enterprise, no add-ons$49.95$499.95All 12
300Enterprise plus 4 blocks of 25$74.95$749.95All 12
500Enterprise plus 12 blocks of 25$124.95$1,249.95All 12
1,000Enterprise plus 32 blocks of 25$249.95$2,499.95All 12

At 100 monitors, Business with 40 extra is $33.27 a month, 68 cents cheaper than Professional stretched to 102. From about 150 monitors Enterprise wins outright, because its blocks are cheaper and the base plan already includes 200. Anyone buying more than 200 monitors on Business is overpaying.

The SMS and phone credit line on a HetrixTools bill

Email, Slack, Teams, Discord, PagerDuty, Opsgenie, webhooks and the other chat channels are included on every plan. Phone calls and SMS are too, but they draw on credits: 25 a month on Professional, 50 on Business, 125 on Enterprise and none on Free. Extra credits are $0.10 each on every plan.

For most teams this is a small line. A three-person rotation that gets 20 texted incidents a month uses 60 credits; on Professional that is 35 over the allowance, or $3.50. It becomes noticeable with a flapping service, where one bad night can burn a month of credits.

Is HetrixTools worth it, and when it is not

For price per monitor, HetrixTools is one of the cheapest paid uptime tools we track. The free plan has no time limit, every plan gets the full feature set, and the blacklist monitor next to it is genuinely useful for anyone who sends email from their own IPs. If your mail reputation is the real worry, a dedicated email blacklist monitoring service is the tool for that job, separate from whatever watches your uptime.

The limit is speed. HetrixTools checks every minute on every plan and there is no tier that goes faster. A minute of detection is fine for a brochure site. It is a real cost when a 99.99% SLA gives you about 4 minutes 23 seconds of downtime a month and the first minute goes on noticing the outage. That is the point where a 30-second tool starts to pay for itself, and it is the trade our HetrixTools alternative comparison walks through row by row.

HetrixTools pricing next to AlertPing

HetrixTools is cheaper per month at every size. On yearly billing the gap closes, and at 500 monitors and up it reverses, because our yearly plans are half the monthly price.

Monitors HetrixTools monthly / yearly Interval AlertPing monthly / yearly Interval
20$9.95 / $99.95 (Professional)1 min$49 / $288 (Starter)60 s
100$33.27 / $333.151 min$59 / $348 (Team)30 s
500$124.95 / $1,249.951 min$189 / $1,128 (Business)30 s
1,000$249.95 / $2,499.951 min$378 / $2,268 (Enterprise, up to 1,500)15 s

At 100 monitors on yearly billing the difference is $14.85 a year, and for that you get checks twice as often, a second region confirming every failure before anyone is paged, 300 SMS a month instead of 50, and escalation to the next person when the first one does not answer. At 500 monitors our Business plan is $121.95 a year cheaper than HetrixTools Enterprise on yearly billing.

What AlertPing does not do: no blacklist monitoring, no server agent for CPU and disk, no domain expiry checks, two regions rather than twelve, and no free plan. If those matter more than detection speed, HetrixTools is the better buy. If you are weighing several budget tools at once, our uptime monitoring pricing comparison lines them up, and the updown.io alternative page covers the pay-per-check option.

HetrixTools pricing questions

How much does HetrixTools cost?

HetrixTools uptime monitoring is free for 15 monitors, $9.95 a month for 30 on Professional, $19.95 for 60 on Business and $49.95 for 200 on Enterprise. Yearly plans cost ten times the monthly price ($99.95, $199.95 and $499.95). Extra monitors cost about $0.33 each a month, or $0.25 on Enterprise.

Is HetrixTools really free?

Yes. The free plan covers 15 uptime monitors and 15 server monitors with no time limit. You must log in at least once every 90 days to keep it, you get 4 of the 12 locations, and no SMS or phone credits are included.

How often does HetrixTools check websites?

Once a minute, on every plan including Enterprise. Paying more buys more monitors, more locations, white labeling and credits, not a faster interval. AlertPing checks every 30 seconds from the $59 Team plan and every 15 seconds on Enterprise.

Does HetrixTools charge for SMS alerts?

Phone and SMS alerts use credits. Professional includes 25 a month, Business 50 and Enterprise 125, the free plan none, and extra credits are $0.10 each. Email, Slack, Teams, webhooks and other chat integrations are included without limits on every plan.

Is HetrixTools blacklist monitoring included in the uptime plan?

No. Blacklist Monitor is a separate product with its own plans and its own free tier of 32 monitors. You can run both on one account, but each is billed on its own price list.

Is there a cheaper alternative to HetrixTools?

Per monitor, very few paid tools are cheaper. The reasons to switch are speed and alerting rather than price: if you need 30-second checks, second-region confirmation or escalation, AlertPing Team does that for 100 monitors at $348 a year, $14.85 more than HetrixTools for the same count.
