Pulsetic costs $0 for 10 monitors checked every 5 minutes, then $9 a month for Solo, $19 for Team and $49 for Organization. Those plans include 10, 50 and 300 monitors, with 60-second checks on Solo and 30-second checks on Team and Organization. Yearly billing is $90, $190 and $490. Monitors above the bundle cost $0.20 each a month, SMS and calls beyond the bundle cost $0.10 each, and extra teammates cost $8.
Every figure here is read from the Pulsetic pricing page, including the add-on list at the bottom. Pulsetic prices in US dollars. The bills further down are our arithmetic on that rate card, with each step shown so you can redo it. Pulsetic strikes through $39 and $69 above its Team and Organization prices and does not publish when the promotion ends, so treat $19 and $49 as the current rate rather than a permanent one.
Need SMS and a full team included in one price?
AlertPing checks 100 websites, APIs, ports and SSL certificates every 30 seconds from US East, EU Central and EU East, confirms each failure from the other regions, and includes 300 SMS alerts and 15 team members for $59 a month on Team or $348 a year. See the plans and limits.
Pulsetic pricing plans
Pulsetic has four plans. They differ by monitor count, check interval, how many probe regions each check uses, the SMS and call bundle, and how much status page customization you get.
| Plan | Monthly | Yearly | Monitors | Check interval | Region checks | SMS and calls |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | 10 | 5 minutes | 3 | None |
| Solo | $9 | $90 | 10+ | 60 seconds | 5 | 30 a month |
| Team | $19 | $190 | 50+ | 30 seconds | 15 | 100 a month |
| Organization | $49 | $490 | 300+ | 30 seconds | 15 | 200 a month |
The plus sign on Pulsetic's own page means the number is the amount included and you can add more. Two things in the table are easy to miss. First, Solo is the cheapest paid plan but includes the same 10 monitors as Free, so you are paying for speed (60 seconds instead of 5 minutes), SMS and a longer history, not for volume. Second, 30-second checks start at Team, so anything faster than a minute costs $19 a month or more.
Paid plans keep uptime history for 1 year, 1 year and 5 years (Solo, Team, Organization), against 3 months on Free. All plans include SSL, port, TCP and ICMP checks, keyword monitoring and email alerts. Status pages are limited to 3 on Free and unlimited on paid plans, and status pages protected by single sign-on are listed only on the Organization plan.
How much does Pulsetic cost per extra monitor?
Pulsetic lists add-ons as per unit prices. A monitor above your plan's bundle costs $0.20 a month, and a dependency monitor costs the same. That is the number that decides your bill once you outgrow 50 monitors.
| Add-on | Price | What it buys |
|---|---|---|
| Extra monitor | $0.20 a month | One uptime monitor above the bundle |
| Dependency monitor | $0.20 a month | One more dependency check |
| SMS or call alert | $0.10 each | Beyond the monthly bundle, and none on Free |
| Teammate | $8 a month | One more user with edit rights |
| Notify-only seat | $2 a month | Receives alerts, cannot change settings |
| Status page subscriber | $0.01 a month | Beyond the bundled subscribers |
| Real user monitoring | $5 per 100,000 page views | Above the included page views |
| AI monitor runs | $15 per 100 runs | Above the included runs |
Per monitor, the plan prices work out to $0.90 on Solo ($9 over 10), $0.38 on Team ($19 over 50) and about $0.16 on Organization ($49 over 300). Past the bundle, every plan charges the same $0.20, which makes the Organization plan the cheaper bundle once you pass 200 monitors on Team.
What does Pulsetic cost at 50, 100 and 200 monitors?
The headline price is rarely the bill. These cases add monitors, SMS and teammates on top of each base price. We count teammates as people beyond the account owner and use the bundles from the table above; confirm the seat rules at checkout before you rely on the last digit.
| Estate | Cheapest Pulsetic plan | Arithmetic | Monthly bill |
|---|---|---|---|
| 50 monitors, 100 SMS, 3 teammates | Team | $19 + 1 extra teammate at $8 | $27 |
| 100 monitors, 300 SMS, 5 teammates | Team | $19 + 50 monitors at $0.20 ($10) + 200 SMS at $0.10 ($20) + 3 teammates ($24) | $73 |
| 100 monitors, 300 SMS, 5 teammates | Organization | $49 + 100 SMS ($10) + 2 teammates ($16) | $75 |
| 200 monitors, 500 SMS, 5 teammates | Organization | $49 + 300 SMS ($30) + 2 teammates ($16) | $95 |
| 300 monitors, 500 SMS, 10 teammates | Organization | $49 + 300 SMS ($30) + 7 teammates ($56) | $135 |
The pattern is clear. If your alerts go to email, Slack or webhooks and you rarely send SMS, Pulsetic is very cheap: 100 monitors on Team with email alerts and two teammates is $19 plus $10, or $29. The bill climbs when SMS and seats grow, because both are metered. A 100-monitor team that wants 300 SMS and five teammates pays $73 on Team.
How does Pulsetic compare with AlertPing on price?
AlertPing has no free plan and no per-message or per-seat charges. Team is $59 a month ($348 a year) for 100 monitors, 30-second checks, 300 SMS and 15 members. Starter is $49 a month ($288 a year) for 20 monitors with 60-second checks and 100 SMS. Pulsetic wins on raw monitor price at almost every size.
| Case | Pulsetic | AlertPing | Who wins |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10 monitors, email alerts | Free, or $9 for 60-second checks | Starter $49 | Pulsetic |
| 100 monitors, email and Slack only | $29 on Team | Team $59 | Pulsetic |
| 100 monitors, 300 SMS, 5 teammates | $73 on Team | Team $59 | AlertPing |
| 100 monitors, 300 SMS, 10 teammates | $113 on Team | Team $59 (15 members) | AlertPing |
| 300 monitors, 500 SMS, 10 teammates | $135 on Organization | Business $189 (500 monitors, 1,000 SMS) | Pulsetic |
Choose Pulsetic when monitor count is your main cost and alerts are mostly chat and email. Choose AlertPing when an on-call team needs SMS and wants a flat bill with escalation and on-call schedules included, so a busy month does not change the invoice. The head-to-head with feature detail is on the Pulsetic alternative page.
Is Pulsetic worth it for a growing team?
For a handful of sites with a public status page, yes. The free plan is real, the $9 plan buys 60 second checks and SMS, and the $19 plan gives 30-second checks and unlimited status pages at a price few tools match. Agencies that put client sites on white labeled status pages get good value.
It becomes a worse deal as an on-call team grows, since each seat and each SMS is billed. Add up your expected SMS and teammates first, using the table above. If the total passes about $60 a month on Team, a flat plan is cheaper and predictable.
One practical note for shops where uptime pays the bills: a site that is down for hours also loses organic traffic, so owners who watch uptime closely often invest in SEO for ecommerce and SaaS sites at the same time.
Frequently asked questions about Pulsetic pricing
How much does Pulsetic cost?
Pulsetic is free for 10 monitors with 5-minute checks. Paid plans are $9 a month for Solo, $19 for Team and $49 for Organization, or $90, $190 and $490 billed yearly. Those include 10, 50 and 300 monitors. Monitors above the bundle cost $0.20 each a month, so your bill depends on size.
Does Pulsetic have a free plan?
Yes. Free covers 10 monitors checked every 5 minutes from 3 regions, 3 status pages and 3 months of history. It includes no SMS or call alerts. Paid plans start at $9 a month for 60-second checks and 30 SMS or calls.
How often does Pulsetic check a website?
Every 5 minutes on Free, every 60 seconds on Solo and every 30 seconds on Team and Organization. The interval is tied to the plan, so faster checks mean moving to $19 a month or more.
Does Pulsetic charge for SMS alerts?
Yes, once you pass the bundle. Solo includes 30 SMS or calls a month, Team 100 and Organization 200. Each alert beyond that costs $0.10, so 500 SMS on Team costs $40 more than the base price.
Is there a cheaper alternative to Pulsetic?
Few tools are cheaper per monitor. The reason to switch is flat pricing for alerting, not the base price. AlertPing Team is $59 for 100 monitors with 300 SMS and 15 members included, which beats a metered Pulsetic bill once SMS and seats grow.
